Panko Shrimp with Garlic Aioli

Deep fried shimp with a homemade garlic aioli

Vegetable oil6 cu
Mayonnaise0.5 cu
Eggs2 units
Panko1 cu
Flour0.5 cu
Shrimp1 lb
Lemon juice1 tbsp
Garlic2 clvs
Kosher salt1 tsp
Black pepper1 tsp
Paprika1 tsp
Cayenne pepper1 tsp
Garlic powder0.5 tsp


  1. Peel and de-vein shrimp
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  3. Combine paprika, flour, and cayenne in a separate bowl
  4. Beat eggs in a small bowl
  5. Pour panko in a small bowl
  6. Heat oil in frying pan
  7. Flour shrimp, then coat in egg mixture and panko using the “wet hand - dry hand” technique
  8. Fry shrimp until golden brown (approximately five minutes, two and a half minutes per side)
  9. Blend aioli ingredients
  10. Sprinkle shrimp with cayenne and serve with aioli
  11. Enjoy!
