Nick's Basil Pesto and Gnocchi
A simple, fresh, garlicky basil pesto

Ingredients

| Olive oil | 4 tbsp |
| Parmesean Reggiano | 0.5 cup |
| Gnocchi, fresh | 12 oz |
| Lemon juice | 3 tbsp |
| Garlic | 4 clvs |
| Pine nuts | 0.25 cu |
| Basil | 4 oz |
| Kosher salt | 1 tsp |
| Black pepper | 1 tsp |
Directions
- Wash and de-stem basil
- Blend pine nuts, parmesean, and garlic in food processor
- Add basil and lemon juice while blending
- Add olive oil, salt & pepper to season
- Prepare gnocchi
- Serve topped with grated parmsean reggiano
- Enjoy!
