Nick's Basil Pesto and Gnocchi

A simple, fresh, garlicky basil pesto

Olive oil4 tbsp
Parmesean Reggiano0.5 cup
Gnocchi, fresh12 oz
Lemon juice3 tbsp
Garlic4 clvs
Pine nuts0.25 cu
Basil4 oz
Kosher salt1 tsp
Black pepper1 tsp


  1. Wash and de-stem basil
  2. Blend pine nuts, parmesean, and garlic in food processor
  3. Add basil and lemon juice while blending
  4. Add olive oil, salt & pepper to season
  5. Prepare gnocchi
  6. Serve topped with grated parmsean reggiano
  7. Enjoy!
